In this episode, Michelle and Erin discuss rigorous quantitative
research examining short and long term effects of early child care
on children’s social and cognitive development. In our discussion,
we delve into depth on the National Institutes of Health and Human
Development Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development and
their methods and findings. Early Care and Education can be a
stressful topic for parents but high quality research allows us to
identify the many positives to high quality care and educational
experiences for children and parents.
